Sweet Retreat is located just 10 miles south of downtown Alexandria, MN, just off beautiful Lake Mary. Situated on 14 acres of woods, wetlands and farm, with a large beautiful yard,visitors to Sweet Retreat can experience all that nature has to offer. The Victorian style Inn, built in 1912, features four simply, yet eloquently, decorated rooms, each with a unique charm. Guests have access to a large library with a window seat and a large collection of books, and a living room with satellite television to enjoy their favorite television show, movie or sporting event. A full breakfast is served daily by a Culinary Artist and guests can now also enjoy "Dinner for Two", including wine from Alexandria's own Carlos Creek Winery, served by candlelight.
